Testimonials

Ron is a great guy to work with, has a great personality, and is knowledgeable about the type of work he does. Ron, at Transmission Man, has always been pretty accommodating. I can pull in anytime, and he will take care of me.

I want to take this time to thank you for repairing my transmission. As you are well aware, I had my car in for repair over eight times to the dealer. After several visits, the dealer decided to rebuild the transmission and said this would stop my transmission problems. The next day after the transmission was repaired; I encountered the same problem which they advised me they would repair. Bringing the car back four additional times never solved the problem.

Not knowing where do go, I spotted your shop and talked to you about the problem, You advised me you had a state of the art facility and trained personnel who will solve my transmission problems. Not knowing what to do, I decided to let your shop work on the transmission.

Several days later you called and said the work was completed. I picked up my car and was extremely surprised there was no dirt on my seats and floor mats. I have to say this is a first, as I usually get my car back dirty.

Ron, as of today, my transmission is working perfect. The dealer could not find the problem, but your shop did, and repaired the transmission back to factory specifications.

I want to once again thank you for fixing my transmission, I will recommend your shop to anyone who needs transmission repair.

I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you for taking care of my Mustang for me, once again. Your excellent service has brought me back for further service. In addition, I refer others to you for service if they need it.

Sincerely,
Michele Hailpern

Hi Ron, I am finally getting around to my Thank You's. I don't know if you remember me and my family, Colleen Ryan and the big van. I just wanted to thank you for getting the work done so quickly so I could get back to my family. I know that God has a plan for everything, and I'm not sure why we broke down, but I can guess. One reason was so we could appreciate a smooth running vehicle. Another was so that I could get a nice mini vacation in with my brother! That was totally unexpected! But I probably needed it! Another was to meet you and hear about your son with RA. As a retired orthopedic nurse, I've seen what RA does. It becomes a very debilitating disease. I am glad that he has been able to find a hobby that doesn't require a lot of physical activity that he enjoys! I have included a DVD for you to watch when you have time. Please click on the

Testimonials title so you can get a really good idea as to why Larry and I are using this juice and are happy to introduce it to anyone, whether they think they are healthy or if they actually have symptoms of disease. Prevention is always better than a cure! In your son's case, he can't change his DNA, but he can change the "expression" of his DNA. I think I told you at your office that my husband is a Family Doctor (over 20 years now) and this is the first "natural" product that he is comfortable telling his patients about because it has decades of unbiased research. There is a website on my business card

that you can go to, to learn more about the research etc. If you want to try it with your son, there is a 30 day money back guarantee on the cost of the juice. I am available by phone or e-mail if you have any questions. It has no known side effects unless someone has an allergy to any of the fruits in the juice, sometimes people who are severely allergic to strawberries can't drink it, rare though. It can be taken with any medications with no interactions, it's like drinking any other juice, most people don't check with their doctor to see if they can drink Orange juice. So, again, thank you for your help, and hopefully I can return the favor!

Sincerely,
Colleen Ryan

I wanted to express my thanks to you for helping me out yesterday when my car left tranny fluid on the highway. Since I was unaccustomed to the area and there were unknown problems with the car, I just hoped that the damage was not too severe. Without hesitation, you were able to put the car on the lift and diagnose the problem — good thing for the overflow tube huh.

Well needless to say I went from thinking how much a new/used tranny would cost to Ron saying the last guy that filled the fluid put in too much- that guy was me! It was a pretty cool lesson in physics (expansion/contraction of fluid) and I can say I got off easy on this one.

Here's a little compensation for your trouble, I know you wouldn't accept it yesterday so I'm mailing it this time. Thanks again!

Respectfully.
Fred Yuyama

Can't begin to thank you enough for getting daughter back on the road in such a short period of time, (3 1/2 hours). Needless to say seeing a cute 21 year old college student can have a mothers heart pounding when the phone rings late at night and she is stranded on 1-5.

I appreciate the fast, courteous, and excellent service extended to her in order to get her back to her studies at Chico State.

She did stop briefly and had dinner with me in Stockton. She says the car ran like new and even the CHP noticed her outside Los Banos, I believe going 75 miles an hour. Unfortunately CHP did not extend any courtseys to her even when she tried to explain that with the new transmission maybe her speedometer was off, but so be the life of a college student.

All kidding aside really do appreciate all the kindness extended yesterday to Jeanine. It is a pleasure to know of your establishment and the effort extended to stranded motorist.

Sincerely,
Sallie Rouse

Bill, Thanks a lot for the excellent service you provided to me on R.O. #2114 9/12/90. You are your staff are to be commended for the fine work which was done on my vehicle. The new clutch works great and I had no further problems on my trip back to S.J.

Thanks Again,
John Seaman

Received your "Thank you" card and wanted to let you know that it should be the other way around.

I can't thank you enough for making what would have been a disaster more tolerable by the efficiency you and your people displayed with my Mazda's transmission. The fact that my car died so close to your establishment and the towing person was so assured of your service was a stroke of luck. I also liked the fact that you were within walking distance to the Enterprise rental office.

Not that I would want to wish anyone a bad transmission, but you are high in my book of servicers.

Sincerely,
Marie Dagucon

I really am so pleased with being able to shift gears easily in our Ford four wheel drive truck. Thank you ever so much for a great job!

But most of all, I wanted to commend you on your organization. I am a business consultant and study what makes a business great. The Transmission Man has been an eye opener for me. From the way the phone is answered to our repaired truck, it is clear that the customer is important (what a novel idea in 1999!). I loved the envelope for the keys, the clean and organized shop, the friendly treatment and on and on. I was so happy that I had to sit down and thank you for being the best repair shop I have ever experienced!

Thank you for being who you are, the BEST. Very truly yours,
Gail Darland

I want you to know just how much my wife and I appreciate the service that I received during my recent visit to THE TRANSMISSION MAN. The mystery of the disappearing fluid and the malfunctioning transmission was solved, by your people, in the most professional manner. I want you to know that it is very unusual for me to write a letter like this, the last one was around 1956 sometime, but when I received your thank you note I had to respond.

When you walked into the waiting room and showed me the residue in the pan you could have told me anything and charged me $2000.00, I probably would have accepted it. However, you didn't do that. You said that the amount of metal we

saw was normal and recommended servicing the transmission. We did that at a total cost of around $85.00 and it's been running great ever since.

Once again THANK YOU and you can be sure we will recommend THE TRANSMISSION MAN every chance we get. It is a pleasure to do business with a PLEASANT and HONEST gentleman.

Sincerely,
Jim Kane

Just a note to thank you again for taking care of our problem with such care and expediency. We appreciated your courtesy to allow us to stay in your parking lot and to use the power cord.

With the low rental rate for the Ford Escort from Magic Ford we were able to enjoy our weekend in the Valentia/Santa Clarita region and a day at the ocean beaches.

We now have a better appreciation of your locality and pleasant memories of what would have been a very dismal weekend if we had been stuck in an RV park.

By the way, we had no problems with the transmission on the way home or since. The shift from first to second is better and it now downshifts correctly for passing. The only thing that was not done was to set up the shift lever indicator. However, it has been this way it is for a couple of years so I am used to it. I will use my Chillton's Ford repair book and set it up myself. The engine overheating problem went away with the transmission re-build so everything is back to normal.

Thanks again for the truly professional job and the considerate treatment we received.
Joseph C.V. Daly

Thank you for doing such a good job and giving advice on the "bizarre car", as we have since named it. Limping into a strange town in such a state is very unpleasant. The trip back to S.F. went smoothly. I even kept the speed under 90 mph.

Upon my return I splurged with a new radiator, to complement the new transmission!

I appreciate your way of doing business. Although your way is the way I try to treat people, good service and people are becoming hard to find. Thank you again.

Sincerely,
James Holloway

Thanks for your good service on repairing my truck under the warranty. It is a pleasure to deal with someone that will stand behind their work.

Sincerely,

Please excuse the typewritten letter. My handwriting has deteriorated drastically with age.

It seems the rarest of all commodities in this hectic life of ours is that old time-worn word "Integrity". This the word that describes you.

I was a hapless owner of a Taurus towed into your kind hands. Like al-most everybody else, I was totally in your power. I had no place I could go. A new transmission had to be put in.

Anytime laymen have to go to a garage or to a mechanic, our greatest fears &/or expectations are that we will most certainly be cheated & overcharged. I think most of us do not mind paying for repairs genuinely performed, but most of us also know through experience, that most often, we have been "TAKEN".

When I came into your office, I was put at ease immediately by the kind-ness of your wife & by the smile on your face. I just had good vibes. As I read of your background in the newspaper clippings on the wall & the letters of commendation from grateful & satisfied customers, I felt to-tally reassured you were that rare animal who would do an honest job.

I was convinced. You were my man.

I was the epitome of the "Captive Audience", yet from the start, you were concerned about my best interest. How rare this is defies words to describe. You looked to see if I might be covered by some warranty. I had just purchased the Taurus from my brother-in-law. He had purchased an extended coverage, hut as a second owner I had not paid the extra $100 needed to extend the coverage. I was still within the 90 day grace period, but the odds were against me having the transmission fixed, sending in the $100 to extend the coverage, & then later trying to collect for this cost which occurred before I had extended the policy. As I mulled over the different issues, I knew the fault was mine. I was resigned to having to spend a large amount of money to fix my transmission.

You took it upon yourself to talk to David Simpson of Magic Ford in Valencia. To your detriment & my gain, David Simpson interpreted the warranty to my benefit. I applaud you for the generosity of your soul & the kindness of your heart. For a retiree, it was a Godsend & deeply appreciated.

May I wish for you & your wife the blessings of marvelous health & a life filled with loving friends & deep prosperity.
How very lovely to meet people of value!!

As I am self employed myself, I understand clearly the stress and pressure owning your own business places upon us.

Please let me extend a heartfelt THANK YOU for service way above and beyond the call of duty. Your frankness and courtesy regarding our transmission problems came at just the right moment during our nightmarish 48 hours.

I get over the Sylmar occasionally and next trip I'll sure stop in. I expect to see this letter on the Peltola Wall of Fame!

Sincerely,
Cliff Schlink
